Göttingen's Second Science Night - a huge success
Event attracted more than 19.000 visitors.
Who or what is LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor)? Why are we fascinated by hieroglyphs? Where does a trip to the realm of the senses lead us? Visitors of Göttingen’s Second Science Night could find answers to these and many more questions on January 17, 2015.
The diverse and inspiring program took place at five main areas spread across the city: Central Campus, the University Medicine Center, North Campus, the city center and South City/HAWK. Hands-on activities, experiments, guided tours, talks, science slams and many more attractions invited everybody to participate, enjoy, learn and discover. Together with a substantial on-stage programme as well as general information on how to study in Göttingen, the program consisted of more than 250 events.
We'll be back in 2017 with another installment.
